Sitara [Sanjay Dutt] and Tara [Govinda] are two brothers who are notorious, lovable, small-town con-men who are always causing trouble with the law. One day when the police are chasing them, they mistakenly shoot one of the most deadliest criminals who goes by the name Cobra [Ashish Vidyarthi]. They look for cover and find themselves at Major Ram Singhs house {Jackie Shroff} who got Cobras brother Panther [Gulshan Grover] arrested because of him and Cobra trying to steal a very advanced gun. Tara and Sitara go to Singhs house but since he is an army officer, he first doesnt allow them. But then he does. When living in his house for a while, Tara and Singhs sister fall in love. Then Sitara and Singhs sisters friend fall in love too. Then one day while in the house, they watch on the TV and learn that Cobra has came back. Then the two realize that Cobra has kidnapped their mother so he can force Tara and Sitara to get his brother [Panther] out of Ram Singhs jail. They then become successful in getting Panther out of the jail so Cobra wouldnt kill their mother. Cobra then gives them their mother. Ram Singh realizes that he has been fooled by the two and then the two watch him on TV getting embarrassed by the media. Then the two realize they should get revenge on Cobra and Panther. They then go to Singhs house and tell him how they were forced by Cobra to deceive Singh. Singh then forgives them. Then the two brothers go out to catch the two criminals. They are successful and all ends well.
